They were punctual and did a very professional job. Anything they dug up, they filled. They left the work area cleaner than they found it. I ended up getting 4 quotes and they had the best price. Our 18-year-old hot water system failed unexpectedly just before we went overseas. Even though it was late at night, Sam responded straight away, talked me through what to check, and arranged to come out the very next morning.

Water reaches the tank from the roof through the gutters and downpipes, so anything affecting those affects the tank. A first flush diverter discards the initial runoff, which carries most of the dust and debris off the roof, before the cleaner water enters the tank.

How the tank connects to the house matters most. Where tank water supplies toilets, laundry or outdoor taps, the connection has to prevent any possibility of tank water entering the drinking water supply. Does this work need a licensed plumber?
